SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korean mobile phone maker Pantech&Curitel Communications Inc. said on Tuesday it has signed a deal to sell 30 million handsets to a unit of U.S. wireless equipment maker UTStarcom Inc.
Pantech&Curitel said in a filing with the Korea Exchange it would sell the CDMA handsets to UTStarcom Personal Communications between October 2006 and December 2009.
The South Korean company did not give the value of the deal.
