BARCELONA – The world’s biggest mobile handset maker, Nokia, repeated on Monday it expects the cellphone market to grow overall by up to 10 percent in 2007.
«We expect the mobile phone market to grow up to 10 percent this year,» Nokia’s Chief Executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo told a news conference at the 3GSM trade fair.
He also said the Finnish-based company expects to launch its first WiMAX mobile wireless broadband phones in the first half of next year.
